New on Local Guides Connect, in NYC & Looking for Events!

Hi Gang!

 

    I'm new on the Local Guides Connect page. Whenever I look for events in NYC, I can't find anything. Is there something else I need to do to find some NYC people and events? Don't get me wrong, all you guides from all over the world are still awesome and I definitely want to meet you when I go to your country. But since I live here in NYC, I'd love to make some local guide friends!
