New Video Option in Google Maps

It is an image that comes and goes it is static and looks like a picture of an old yellow pick up truck then when it is in view for a couple of seconds it starts to play the video. I can not dependably replicate it myself

it is for Keating Automotive   Hamden ct and about 4 items down. It displays when staggered tiled images show up not. then sometimes in full image display on the left side with the desktop view.  Attached is a screen shotThe image with the yellow truck is the video

I think it is variable since it is a new feature and may not index the same way pictures do. No idea how they review and approve the video so that they are appropriate and not just an advertisement.

Awesome! @davidcox Looks great! It appears to be playing in it's own stand alone video player unrelated to YouTube. A gif would be a handy addition to keep the file size low and loading time to a minimum so it can be featured on the opening page of the business.

Adding Videos is a good choice. As of now, I don't find any content moderation. This could be a huge problem when people start exploiting this.  There is no proper way to handle NSFW content in the app now. I find many instances in India where People advertise (https://goo.gl/maps/d9TGA8srUw52) in google maps. This could turn out to be a huge problem.
