I love too much snowboarding and craft beer in Nagano, I moved here from Tokyo two years ago.
Recent craft beer is more and more popular as you know. I would tell that for someone dislike ordinary beers,how different craft beer is from them. The bitter of beer often makes them dislike. But some craft beer have no bitter.
There are various tastes in craft beer. Sweet,sour and even spicy and so on.please try to drink it and find favorite ones.
When I had visited Shiga kogen in Nagano （the biggest snow resort in japan）over about ten years ago ,I met Shiga kogen beer! This is local craft beer.My friend bought it for himself,but he said “would you try?” I did it and couldn’t stop drinking.His beer all most made be empty by me! I had never drunk such a delicious beer like this.
I recommend someone dislikes typical beer in Japan try to drink craft beer in good craft beer bar.
Why do I post them?
There are some popular breweries in Nagano,Japan.But when I started my life here, I didn’t get a good information of beer bar here.
I hope this post would help you loving craft beer.
1.Red dragon （レッドドラゴン）

Non smoking （Unlike a lot of bar in Japan）
They sell many not also craft beers but many alcoholic drinks.(whiskey,burbon,techira and so on)
They sell beer made in Japan and foreign countries.Sometimes this is the only place you can try local craft beer.
2.James Nagano beer market （ジェームス長野ビアマーケット ）
9taps(4taps for local craft beer )
Smoking(I feel a little disappointing）
They proactively sell beer made in Nagano.
There is the nearest craft beer bar to the station whiteout Sinshu kuraudo（信州くらうど）.
3.Minamikaze namamugi （みなみ風 生麦）
8taps
They sell various craft beer even from Hokkaido in japan.
Many bar give up to sell it due to high sipping.
You can enjoy Japanese food too.
I think this bar is alike “izakaya“ .

4.GOFUKU
From Zenkoji to Nagano station,You can stop by here.The location is difficult to find,but the atmosphere is very calm and cozy.They open lunch time.They sell 6taps of Japanese craft beer and many bottles of local craft beer that is only to get here without breweries.This one is revolted old house in japan.
Non-smoking
4.Sinshu kuraudo（信州くらうど）
They sell 2taps beers and wine,sake that all made in Nagano.
There is on the 2nd floor in Midori building.
You can go there very easily from Nagano station.
Because this building is located next to Nagano station and on same floor of station.
Every times you can drink “Yona yona ale” here.
This beer is mostly famous one.
It is very easy to drink and buy in the other area.

5.Komatsuya
Only bottle
Because this isn’t a beer bar but a restaurant.
Otherwise you can try very rare craft beer like “Libushi” by a chance.
“Libushi” in Nozawaonsen is very hard to drink but recently popular.
Even In Tokyo it’s difficult to try it.
This restaurant is located near Zenkoji. You can stop by here after sightseeing it.

私の好きな長野駅周辺のビアバーです。前にあげた投稿の中かからお店の紹介のみを投稿しています。
2017年まで東京に住んでいました。東京のクラフトビアバーは基本禁煙ですが、長野はそうでもないです。
この投稿の中から禁煙のお店を紹介していきます。
冒頭のレッドドラゴンは酒全般にこだわりがあるマスターがいます。海外、ローカルといろんなビールが楽しめます。
ゴフクは古民家を改築していてとてもいい雰囲気。デートにおすすめです。ドラフトは県外でも飲めるメジャーなヤッホーがメイン。あと常陸ネストがありました。ボトルはローカルクラフトビールの里武士や、海外の面白いものをいれてます。
信州くらうどは、こちらもヤッホーですが、日本酒、ワインと県内の酒全般が楽しめるので汎用性が高いです。
フードコートぽいので少し落ち着かないかもしれませんが、長野駅と同じフロアなので新幹線で東京に帰る前の ちょい飲みにも使えます。
