Issues Subscribing to Board

I subscribed to the News/Announcements board because I'd like to receive updates on what new things Google is doing. The problem is now I'm receiving an email for every single comment anyone is making on any of those posts. Is there a way to only get notified of the first post?  Unless, of course, it's a thread I'm posting myself (like this one) in which case I want all responses.

@JoyHawkins Unfortunately, that is indeed the case for now. So if you subscribe to a busy board, you might get lots of email when someone is posting/replying to threads. That's a good point though.

how to unsubscribe? I leave comment on thread with “introduce yourself in March” and now I get 50+ email a day 😞
