Its sad that you are assuming that am doing this for something, i started contributing on maps before i knew people earn points and go to summits.I do this during my free time, i mostly do edits because most places in Kenya have been mapped badly. But even if i was doing it so that i can benefit financially and it benefits my local community, i dont see the problem in that.
