How to leave LGC forums ?

I would like to unsubscribe from the Local Guide Connect website, without leaving the local guide program. How can I cancel my account here ?

There is nothing useful for me here.

Nobody from my area, unmoderated and constant advertising (spam) and many other annoying things I won't mention to avoid upsetting other members...

If you want to stop receiving  mails and notifications you can set up it your account, and continue on the program.

Nope,  I really mean to leave LGC.

I stopped the notifications a long time ago. 

I have pretty much figured out the functionalities of the site... but I can't find a way to cancel my forum account.

Hi @PierJes, we are sorry to hear you haven't been able to use Connect to achieve what you had hoped. The site is definitely moderated (and we are in fact ramping up our team to give even more support here), but we understand its not right for everyone. We always welcome any feedback you may have and are regularly making changes and improvements to the site based on that feedback. If for any reason you want to leave the Local Guides program, please visit your LG Homepage Settings page, https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

go to the bottom and click Exit Program.
