Pleasant surprise this morning when I checked and saw a new (for me) badge: novice director.
I have seen others alluding to this particular badge in posts, so I had an inkling it might be coming. But since there is no grayed-out icon or placeholder in the carousel until the badge is actually earned, I suppose there could be even more badges I’m not yet familiar with, apart from Reviewer, Photographer, Fact Finder, Trailblazer and Director.
Does anyone know of any or whether there are definitively more at the moment? A quick search yielded nothing concrete.
Also, either way, if/when Google expands the current badge set, what would you most like to see added? I derive a lot of satisfaction from the Answers functionality (2,234 Qs answered, so far), so a badge themed around answering tons of those, asking Q&As on GMB/GM (if it made sense to conflate those two things) would be great.
i also enjoy helping to curate content through diligent, principled, reasonable reporting of violations and by liking or sharing especially good content from other LGs. A badge predicated on performing functionally-altruistic actions (viewing/voting on others’ content; Likes on a review; etc) would be interesting too.
