Help: A question for fellow Indonesian Local Guides

I have a question for my fellow Indonesian Local Guides (or for anyone who has visited Indonesia, really.)

I'm planning to visit the country next month (November) on holiday. I will be there for three weeks, and this is going to be my first time there.

My question is, what places/experiences should I absolutely not miss? Since I have three weeks, I think I will have ample time to visit several islands and see what they have to offer. I have heard a lot about Bali, but I'm not too keen to spend a lot of time there since (I assume) the place will be filled with people.

As locals, what do you suggest that I see and do?

I'd also love to join any meetups happening during this period. I will keep an eye on the meetups page for this.
