Happy International Museum Day : Ullen Sentalu Museum Yogyakarta

Ullen sentalu museum is one of the best museum in Indonesia. The museum is located at the slope of Merapi volcano, the most active volcano in Indonesia (+ 7km far from the top of the volcano). Ullen sentalu is acronym of Ulating blencong sejatine tataraning lumaku, if we translate in English the meaning (more or less) is the light of our way of life. This museum represented nuance between "old and new", a new style of history telling. You can enjoy the museum + 50 - 60 minutes with educator tour. 

To reach the museum you can go by online taxi, or private car/motorbike. Because it is far from the heart of Yogyakarta, + 25 km far. In the area of the museum you can get lunch at Beukenhoff restaurant and buy some batik and souvenir at the store.

We have a Night of Museum.Museum is open even at night in this day in Moscow.

No, we haven't got any free entrance for entering the museum. And here the museum usually open until 3 pm. Nice to hear about museum from Moscow! Happy to hear that! 🙂
