Google is a huge company.  Each team is looking after their own business objectives.

 

When the event is not hosted by Local Guides team, then it is understandable Local Guides are not specially invited for the event.

 

I do agree Local Guides team should do more internal promote within Google, so that any future local Google Events should engage Local Guides as well.  It will only benefit everyone involved.

@SanyaOdare, I'm really happy to know that Google was in Nigeria. I want to know if there is a particular google product used in Nigeria and not elsewhere. Congratulations on your team.
