Yesterday I reached level4 but it seems I cannot redeem this extra storage. Can some give me advice? This page says it has already be redeemed, but here https://maps.google.com/localguides/home the button ''inwisselen'' is still activated.
@SDatta the benifit and other gains which r given by Google to local guide are displayed on the local guide home page and u will be notify if u gain some benifit to redeem that.
i have reached level 4 in feb and i have got a free space of 100 gb for a year as benefit . but at that time i did not redeem and now i have no idea how to unlock that 100gb free space before march 17 2017 . please some one help me unlock it.
When I reached lvl 2, my login flipped and I could only contribute on another email address.
I am now lvl 4 on the second login and I have been receiving emails encouraging me to claim the promo Drive Free Storage offer. The policy of offering rewards on the original signup login prevents me claiming.
1. Why am I getting these emails?
2. Can I actually take the reward and how?
3. If I continue to grow my lvl 4 contributions on the second login, will this prevent me from being eligible for any future lvl 4/5 offers?
I have enjoyed contributing to expose my local facilities, so the promo is not so important, but is it possible to claim?
There is separate option for receiving emails. Maybe you have this option turned off. Look at Google Maps page, not contribute, then find settings by tapping the 3 horizontal lines on the left of top search bar. Good luck.
They remain in maps even if you delete them in photos. So, you don't have to worry about it. If you don't want to show them in maps, you have to delete it your maps account.
