Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, ON is the site selected by Golf Canada to host the RBC Canadian Open in 2018.

Glen Abbey Golf Club, designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, a seven-time runner-up at the event renowned as the longtime home of Canada’s National Men’s Open Golf Championship will mark in 2018 the 30th time the venue has played host to the stars of the PGA TOUR. The 2018 championship will run July 23-29 on the PGA TOUR schedule.

Golf Canada’s head office as well as the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum are located on the grounds of Glen Abbey Golf Club.
Amid the pressure to open 92.7 hectares site for housing developments to build 3,222 housing units and 122,000 square feet of retail and commercial space in this west of Toronto hot market spot, Town of Oakville is moving to designate the entire golf course, including the tees, fairways, greens and other design features, as a Canadian cultural heritage property.
