Completely Remove A Google Maps Entry

For legal and security reaons I need to assist a local business to get their information from Google Maps removed COMPLETELY - hence not just "no longer exists"

Any strategy for this?

It is important for the safety of the owner who has been tried be burglarized many times.

My advice to him was to claim his real adress entry and then change it to a post box office entry.

I still would like to know how to block/remove an entry COMPLETELY. Thanks!

I recalled reading at the closed Mapmaker Forum that such reqeust to remove published information on Maps is not possible.

And remember - in Internet - once information is published, there can be countless caching site that will keep a snapshot of the information which no one can completely remove at all.

If you have any content that you would like to be removed from Google's services under applicable laws please fill out this form for each service you'd like to remove the content.
