From 1 November, Sasebo Kunchi will start in Sasebo. The god of Kameyama Hachiman Shrine is going to the town. A procession to the depot is called down. On the second day, the “Yudachi Shrine”, which wishes to have no sickness, will return to the shrine on the third day.

11月1日から佐世保では「佐世保くんち」が始まります。亀山八幡神社の神様が町へ出向いおいでです。お下りと呼ばれお旅所への行列が練り歩きます。2日には無病息災を願う「湯立て神事」3日目には神社へ戻るお上りが行われます。

日本各地のお祭りは数えきれない程、九州博多の山笠は勇壮ですね、秋田のねぷた、

ねぶた、地域で呼び名も変わるそうです。五穀豊穣、安寧を願い、感謝の表れがお祭りの様ですね。
