entering photographs

i am having difficulties entering new places, that are in the middel of nature, and do not have a a location name.

how do I have to proceed?

Thanks for your help. 

I intended to put a picture in a particular place on Inle lake Myanmar. Nampan village, but meanwhile I noticed when I take the nearest spot that is known, it puts the pic in the right spot, if lat/long is incorporated in the exif. But if not, what to do.

all my ex Panoramio pics that are in the list have a lat/long in the Exif.

but they never the less are named in Dutch " look at place".

I try to put them on the map, but they need a fix to a place, which is difficult, if it's in the middle of nowhere.

How to put them on the map (and why aren't they already on it, since the lat/long is incorporated...
