 What is the benefit of Being A Local Guide... Does google give priority to local guides on the basis of their performance...

this is a volunteer program and helping others is the best thing about this program

but sometimes they give us little parks like coupon codes, drive storage etc. for encourage us

and also they can choose you as a beta tester and make you early access product tester( this is a selective process )

and as you ask priority according to performance,

if you apply​ for summit that time points and levels quality of contents matters for selection and summit is also a benefit but it's a selective process and very few people can get a chance
