I can't seen to write reviews or ask questions regarding this problem on any other site. So apologies for adding my problem into this one. My account too says please add a name. Is there a resolve on this please or so I have to create a whole new account? Everytime I do try and add a name it doesn't work. It just repeats the question

Timeline / reviews / Photo upload issue
I can not access the timeline (500 server error, I can not access the server, I can not connect to the map Please try again in a few minutes etc.)

How to fix:

1) do nothing
It is restored naturally if you leave it for 2 - 5 days

2) My suggestion (Android / iOS)

- For unnamed accounts, go to https: //aboutme.google.com/ and press the pencil icon next to the account name. Are all your name / name / nickname entered?
  If your last name or name is blank, will you add something to solve the problem?

3) @Cinnamon suggestion (Android?)

1st try.
deleted all storage, all data, all cache data for
- Google play
- Gmail
- google Maps

2nd try.
- deleted the Gmail acct totally, and set up it up again from scratch.

4) @Valsimots suggestion (Android?)

Resync the account.

Example of Android 8.1.0
- Setting --> Usrs & accounts --> "Account tap" --> Account sync --> People details --> turn off / on

Unfortunately there are instances in which trying these methods will not fixit.
It happens on both Android and iOS

又は
「お客様の Google アカウントには名前が追加されていません。続行するには名前を追加してください。登録はすぐに完了します。」

文言が表示されて口コミや写真の投稿ができなくなる場合がある。

対応:

1) 何もしない
2～5日間程度放置すると自然に治っている場合があります。

2) 私の提案 (Android/iOS)
上記の表示が出た際には、「名前を追加」を押して、表示されたプロフィールに対して、姓・名・ニックネームを埋める（空欄不可）とすることで解消できます。
このページは https://aboutme.google.com/ の写真/表示されている名前の横の鉛筆マークを押して変更することも出来ます。

3) @Cinnamon の提案 (Android?) 

まずは以下のアプリケーションのデータとキャッシュを全て削除する。
- Google play
- Gmail
- google Maps

上記でも解決出来ない場合
- アカウントを端末から削除して再度セットアップを行って、Gmailが読める状態まで復旧させる

4) @Valsimots の提案 (Android?) 

アカウントでの再同期を行う。

Android 8.1.0の例
- 設定 --> ユーザーとアカウント "該当アカウントをタップ" --> アカウントの同期 --> ユーザの詳細をオフにしてオン

 
残念ながらこれらの方法を試しても治らないという事例もある。

My local guides contribution on andrAnd Google maps keeps asking for my name. It has been this way for months. I can't do any reviews. Please help @JeslynL@@

Try these user submitted fixes I have found for you all in regards to getting reviews to post correctly.

Had same issue on Android device Samsung S7 but it seemed to just fix itself eventually.
