Hi Local Guides team,
Since couple days ago, terrible mail delivery delay has occurred. And it seems no new mail arrives from Connect today.
Can you have a look what is going on?

Since 2017/09/14 19:56 (JST), The notification mail arrived at last. But almost all delayed 10 hours. 😞

Hello @backy0175L. Thanks for sharing this feedback on the last Community Moderators hangout.
Mail notification is not broken but Community Mailer emails are sometimes delayed as many Gmail users mark Connect posts as spam — this slows emails for all Gmail users as Lithium (the platform that houses Connect) is limited to the number of emails it can send to Gmail in a given moment.
Of course, we hope to improve this experience moving forward, but what we can do now is to urge Local Guides and other Lithium platform users not to mark Community Mailer emails as spam. Hope this explains! 🙂

Thank you for explaining why the delay occurs. However, this delay was confirmed earlier this year, but I feel doubts that it has not been solved yet. In addition, if users are registering mail from lithium as spam, the impact on other business communities(Advertiser Community, Cloud Connect, etc) that use lithium is also great. I hope Google should resolve such mail delay completely and immediately.
