I came across a place on Google maps that was tagged with 2 different names and had two pins. How can I delete one of the pins in such a scenario?

Hi @Maneetkaur,
Thanks for posting your issue here, it will be helpful to others too.
It's easy to remove a duplicate pin in maps.
Here's how to remove the POI.
Open google maps.
Click on the POI (business) which has to be removed>>click on suggest an edit
After clicking on place permanently closed or never existed (option: no)>> it will ask the reasons like never existed, permanently closed, spam etc.,
click on Duplicate of another place and submit.
After approval of your edit, the pin will be removed.
Hope this will be helpful.
Note: This is just for understanding and reference and not to delete the actual POI
Thanks

Thank you @Jafarpasha
This is helpful. I have seen the Place is permanently closed or never existed button but didn't try using it. Will try that.
Thank again!
