New: See a graph of your recent contributions

We’ve heard that you loved our end-of-year email, which included a tally of the photos, reviews, and info you shared on Google Maps in 2017. So we’re really excited to announce a new way to see your contribution totals any time.

Just visit Local Guides home while you’re signed in on any desktop or mobile device. There, you’ll find a fun infographic that shows what you’ve shared on Google Maps over the last six months. You’ll see your contribution totals, along with a breakdown of all the different things you’ve shared, added, and edited. Click the bars to see your contribution totals for each month.

Frequently Asked Questions

My contribution totals are different on the graph than in the Google Maps app. Why?

It might take up to 24 hours for your points to sync between Google Maps and the graph.

How did my photos and reviews get so many views?

When you add a photo or review to a place on Google Maps, it becomes viewable by anyone in the world across Google. The more popular a place is, the more likely it is that someone will see your photo or review.

Hi @BruceDM ,

I loved this feature but would appreciate if minor changes are done by the analysis team.

I'm sure the changes would make it a sure shot hit.

Firstly the colors are slightly confusing. The orange color and the blue color used for two types of contributions look almost the same. If any other color replaces them, I would appreciate it.

Secondly, can we show the average monthly contributions overall all levels or level-wise. Or something similar in those lines.

Also I have waited for more than 24 hours and few contributions have not shown and changes in the numbers. Any thoughts???

I don`t have any information on right of "Your contributions" on Google Maps. Why?

Before I tell you to try few steps, I would like to ask few questions to narrow down the issue.

1. Have you ever been able to see the scores?

2. Are you using a phone or desktop?

3. Could you try any other phone to login to your account?

4. If you are using a desktop, which browser are you using?

5. Is your phone updated to the latest version if you using a phone?

I'm sure you too should be able to see your contributions like other users. If you could please let us know about these questions, we can suggest you few steps to try.

thank you for the answer. Yesterday the information "Your contributions" appeared.

I am using a phone and desktop. On the desktop I am using Google Chrome. But I had no information either on the phone not on the desktop.

I don`t know what was the reason, but all is well now.

I'm happy that you are able to see your contributions. 

There could be some technical glitch. However, I read an article where it was mentioned that Chrome is recommended.

Anyways, all's well that ends well. 😀
