In November, the United States celebrates Thanksgiving, a holiday of giving thanks and showing appreciation for people, situations, and things that make an impact on our life. As we are a truly global community here on Connect, what we can celebrate is our gratitude.

Last year, we launched our recurring Thankful Thursday posts to shine the spotlight on some of our most dedicated Local Guides. If you haven’t seen them yet, check them out here.

This time, we thought we'd kick off a thread for you all to share who or what you are thankful for. That could be a fellow Local Guide who always encourages you to do better, a meet-up you attended that inspired you to try something new, or anything else.

We'll go first: We’re thankful for YOU, our Local Guides, who kept showing support for your communities and guiding others with love on Google Maps and off during another unpredictable year.

Who or what are you grateful for? Don’t forget to tag your friends in the comments below.

Note: Due to the volume of private messages Googlers receive, I do not read or respond to private messages. Please post publicly so others may benefit from your discussion. If you require urgent assistance, please tag a Google Moderator. Thank you!.
