@TorM I can appreciate English as the “universal” language but here in Connect, we are all about celebrating our individuality, our culture/heritage etc… it would be a shame to miss out on amazing posts if English was a barrier to some! Hope to see you participate too!

Yes I have listened Loco Podcast. Local Guides have really to be appreciated.

I have posted regarding ‘Influence of trees in everyone life’ I posted without the hashtag. Then I tried to add hashtag by editing. It went wrong somewhere. The hashtag also didn’t turn blue.

@AdrianLunsong “Megachurch” would be a Dramedy; think The Office, Best in Show or Curb Your Enthusiasm, and probabally set in Colorado Springs. Honestly I have not developed any characters, I just have some general ideas.

Religious belief is topical and personal and yet very, very public. Personally, I’ve actually never attended a “Megachurch” but I do see it’s influence here in Boise ID and of course religious belief is central in American culture, history and politic. Megachurch explores the social, emotional and spiritual incentives of religious belief through perhaps a family or through diverse character/attendees. What happens when sexual attraction begins at a place where fornication is forbidden? Jesus is watching.

I’m inspired at how Try Parker and Matt Stone satirized religious belief in The Book of Mormon Broadway Musical without mocking the actual believers. Have you ever seen this video? What an impossible task the Creators of South Park took on here, the viewer identifies with Elder Price even though we laugh at the things he believes.

I’m convinced that there is an audience for a satirical presentation of mainstream Christian belief in America. I’ve not taken my idea much further than this.

Hi Adrian about the Writing Challenge I wanted some advise…it says that we can’t edit the photo (not cut, not changing colors, no nothing?) In the photo we’re about to talk about, there’s a sign that appears every time I want to set a photo in the Note I’m about to write, so can you give me any advise, please!

This is a great initiative and lazy writers like myself will have a reason to sit up and combine words to make sense with this challenge. Ultimately, I hope to improve my writing skills with this chance. Thanks @AdrianLunsong , you’re always on point.

THank you @AdrianLunsong I appreciate your suggestion to write in native language but I wrote one of my posts in Russian and then I read the English translation of it by choosing the language option here on Local Guides Connect site and I was really disapointed the way it was translated. It was really strange as when I just copy my Russian (native) text and paste it in Google Translate - the translation was almost perfect but here on LGC the translation was unclear.
