Hi @David_K and all from Google etc thanks for the collective posts and greetings which is so appreciated. Thank you @David_K and all Googlers for keeping us in the loop and always very supporting of every local guide. This day, I celebrate my 6-year anniversary being a local guide and mapper. Without Googlers and other local guides’ support and motivation I did not think I could come this far and for many years more to come. This platform allows us to have two ways comminutions which I really appreciate.

What a wonderful wrap-up post! 
2025 has truly been an incredible year — from the return of Connect Live to celebrating the Local Guides’ 10th anniversary, and so many other memorable moments along the way.
I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store, hopefully with even more surprises ahead.

Thank you for sharing. I feel I gained a lot in Tokyo in July 2025, both from exposure to ideas for new features and from my feedback on existing features. 
Personally discussing with local guides around the world made me realize how much Google Maps truly inspires our lives.

I feel very fortunate to have met many Googlers, Connect Moderators, and Connect Live UI and software developers. They’re always so much fun to be around; Great group of individuals!
