Many years ago in summer I visited Veliko Tarnovo-very nice town.

I have already visited Bulgaria 5 times.

@helga19 , as far as I know there is, and the region itself is very popular for such resorts. In case you have some time, I recommend you to visit, the Rila Monastery, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo and Bojentsi.

Razlog is a beautiful place. Pirin Mountain is incredible itself. I am sure that your vacation will be amazing.

I would like to join the others’ advice and offer one more place for you. This is a Makedonska Kruchma’s restaurant with an amazing traditional food. They even serve their own-prepared cheese, wine and other. This place is located in Dobrinishte town, which is not far from Razlog.

I was surprised a lot to see so much snow in Bulgaria in your pictures! Awesome!

Especially, I was impressed of the last picture. Very beautiful! Very snowy!!!

I love Bulgaria and every time when I visit it I get incredible experience.

As for Ukrainian winter, I want to say that it’s various in different regions.

Especially in South Ukraine where I live near the Black sea, we haven’t much snow now.

Usually snow is going after New Year Holidays. It’s interesting that every winter we have one-two snowstorm with frost below -15…-20’C. It’s veeery cold!!! But it’s during around one week.

Typically we have the winter with little snow, the temperature is around -4’C, wind and high humidity.

All those photos are so much beautiful! So basically we are neighbors by sea. : ) Where do you live in Ukraine?

In Bulgaria is the same situation. Recently it would snow more after New Year and we will have 1 or 2 very cold weeks below -10 degrees. I remember when I was a kid our winters were much longer - they would start from November and until March everything is snow, snow, snow. : )

Thank you for your reply @TsekoV I visited Sofia,Plovdiv,Nessebar,Varna,Burgas,Rila monastery,Veliko Tarnovo,Sunny beach.

Best of all I like Sofia , Veliko Tarnovo.,Nessebar.
