When in Sri Lanka you must visit Galle Face

Galle Face is a 5 ha (12 acres) ocean-side urban park, which stretches for 500 m (1,600 ft) along the coast, in the heart of Colombo, the financial and business capital of Sri Lanka.

At the end of each day, this is where you will find families enjoying the cool breeze from the Indian Ocean, kids flying kites or young couples enjoying the sunset. Galle Face is also where you will find the true, delicious Sri Lankan street food.

@EwanArnolda Great. I will be eagerly waiting for your next post on Sri Lanka. If possible make a post on Adam Peak in detail. I want to know more about it as it will be on my list to visit. Thanks.

Hi @EwanArnolda ,

Amazing park, It looks so clean and peaceful, yet so vibrant. Thanks for sharing your photos with us, I am learning so much about places I’ve never been. I can almost hear the waves! How was the food? Did you try something peculiar like the sour fish curry or the wood apple?
