Oh great challenge. ! Mr @MathanVibranarayan ..
For me I think:
host at least 5 meet ups, complete some road accepted on map and the most importantly an meet up to show some lovey part of my country ( that I’ll like to share with the community) before we swap this year …
I think as things are well going and the community is available it won’t be a problem!
Ma’am @cuicani and Mr @fayayolla could have a dream too why not tag them..!?
#LG.
@Laurent #défiaccepté ![]()
But before aiming to December, I’m grateful because I’ve achieved all of this year’s goals. I have to say that Local Guides and Connect went way beyond my expectations ![]()
@MathanVibranarayan Now, back to the rest of 2025, I have goals that at the beginning of the year I couldn’t even imagine I would have now:
That both Spotlight Community Weeks I’m coordinating have wonderful outcomes and that both teams feel more united after participating in them. Vamos, chicos! Sí se puede! #LocalGuidesMexico // Allez, les francophones!! #LocalGuideFr
To post at least one or two posts of a series that I’m planning, aiming to coming FIFA 2026 (meanwhile, it’s Top Secret)
Since @fayayolla has already been challenged, I call to the stage @LightRich @LaloPadilla @Lizyeth_Villanueva @SholaIB and @christophesubilia (quand tu seras prêt)
Thank you for inviting me to this challenge brother @MathanVibranarayan My goals for the remaining days of this year would be
- At least one review a day to break my previous streak of contributing to Maps for 50 continuous days
- Adding 100 photos
Your goal though ambitious is definitely achievable. You are on the right track with dedication and consistency. All the best ![]()
Pieds aux planché alors ! ..et courage surtout ma’am @cuicani !.
#LG.
My first achievement I haven’t been able to achieve it. I wanted to achieve 500,000 thousands points on my Google maps profile.
I still have a few months before the year ends though. Nevertheless I have achieved a good number of things as a local guide already.
TRAC 2025 We added 137k New Roads !!!
My Road mapping champion badge !!!
We are on TORM event, 30k Challenges done !!!

The difference our contributions make
I must say, dear @MathanVibranarayan, this is a truly wonderful thought and an incredibly innovative challenge you have put forward.
As someone who has always valued numbers, right from my school days through my corporate journey, I have long appreciated the clarity and drive that measurable goals bring. However, one of the most important realizations I have had over time is this: quality matters far more than quantity.
Often, in the pursuit of high numbers, we unintentionally compromise on aspects that are far more meaningful, depth, integrity, impact, and intention. When our focus shifts solely to statistics, we risk turning our contributions into a race rather than a purpose-driven journey. But when numbers are backed by genuine quality, that’s when they shine the brightest and speak the loudest.
With that in mind, my focus moving forward, especially as we head into the remainder of 2025, is not just on how many contributions I make, but the value and impact those contributions create.
I remain fully committed to upholding best practices, encouraging ethical contributions, and nurturing growth within both Google Maps and Connect, guided always by policies and a sense of community responsibility. That, to me, is the true measure of success.
Thank you, Mathan, for prompting this reflection through your thought-provoking post. You have helped me articulate what I truly want to stand for.
With that, I would love to invite @palmad1, @SonamW, @Manishhh, @MrFreez, @Designer_Biswajit, @KetanChhaniyara, @KashifMisidia bhai, and @NareshDarji to share their thoughts on this as well.
Let’s continue inspiring one another with purpose.

Hello @Kumaarsantosh ji ![]()
Thank you so much for mentioning me in this post.
You are right, no compromise should be made to achieve something quickly. I will continue to contribute in my own way. If any milestone is reached through this, that will be my achievement.
Happy Guiding~
Regard
Thank you so much @Kumaarsantosh ji
for bringing up this topic to my notice.I really appreciate it, and also want to congratulate @MathanVibranarayan
for taking up such a thought provoking challenge for all of us.
I totally agree with @Kumaarsantosh ji‘s point of view on this.
For me, the goal is to keep improving myself in all areas of life, to become a better version of myself with every challenge I take up. I try to focus on one goal at a time, because life is full of goals and challenges every single day. I move at my own pace and within my limits, and this is the method that works for me:
-
Knowing the goal
-
Gathering information about it
-
Verifying that information
-
Applying what I learn
-
Executing it sincerely
This simple method has helped me grow with every task I do.
As a Local Guide, I’m learning so much every day from LGs around the world. Honestly, if it weren’t for the knowledge and insights shared in the Connect forum, I’d probably still be at Level 06 It’s the power of learning and knowing that has helped me earn badges, grow, and contribute in new ways.
Right now, I don’t have any specific goal my focus is on overall growth. I believe there are a few wonderful goals waiting ahead, and if I keep working with passion, those goals will eventually reveal themselves to me.
There’s still so much to learn… and as the saying goes…
“Miles to go before I sleep,
There’s,Miles to go before I sleep.”
Thanks and regards
Truly appreciate you, @Designer_Biswajit, for taking the time to acknowledge and share your thoughtful insights. Your words reflect both creativity and depth, and they add so much value to the conversation. Grateful for your wonderful perspective.
I hope our dear @MathanVibranarayan takes a moment to go through this and appreciates the thoughts shared from a completely different perspective.
Thank you so much, @SonamW, for taking the time to share your kind words and acknowledgment. Your affirmation truly means a lot. It beautifully reflects the collective thought process we, as a community, are nurturing here, one that inspires us to think differently, exchange ideas meaningfully, and grow together through diverse perspectives.
I absolutely love this perspective and deeply resonate with it. I have always believed that our true competition is not with others, but with ourselves. Every day is an opportunity to outgrow who we were yesterday and take one more step toward becoming a better version of ourselves.
Your thoughts are clear, powerful, and full of purpose, I truly value and respect them @SonamW. Thank you once again for joining the conversation and sharing such meaningful insights.
I also hope our dear friend @MathanVibranarayan takes note of this, as it offers a refreshing angle and a different spectrum of thought worth reflecting on.
This is such a great idea and the perfect motivation to finish the year strong! @MathanVibranarayan
Thank you for tagging me @Kumaarsantosh
Hello, my friend @MathanVibranarayan, I haven’t set any specific goals on Google Maps or Connect to achieve by the end of 2025. Thank you for tagging me.
Very good approach @Designer_Biswajit. As we get closer to the end of the year, my stats every day are showing me less likely to reach my final target of Level 10. But I’m very reluctant to go on a wild and careless run of contributions just to get there. If I miss it by a few weeks there’s nothing lost. Quality is better than quantity.
You are most welcome, dear @EshaHarish

Thank you for initiating this thoughtful and motivating challenge, @MathanVibranarayan! It’s a fantastic way to finish 2025.
Dear @Kumaarsantosh, thank you for the tag and the invitation to share my thoughts! I sincerely apologize for the delay in responding; I was tied up with work deadlines.
I wholeheartedly agree with your reflection that “quality matters far more than quantity.” This is a principle I’ve followed since starting my contributions in 2014, always focusing on supporting local businesses through accurate details like updating hours, accessibility, available payment modes, and parking information. Your focus on depth, integrity, and impact is essential for Maps’ long-term health. ![]()
My Goals for the remainder of 2025
My goal is less about chasing the next level and more about maximizing the quality and reach of my existing work.
-
Cleaning up my profile for maximum impact. I learned through the @AdamGT’s T100 system that I had accumulated many hidden reviews and media. While cleaning these up, I lost points and views, but I’m happy to ensure my public profile reflects high-quality, visible work.
-
Committing to connecting with the local community, which naturally leads to sharing and learning from others. I plan to host my first Local Guides meet-up in November, and then at least one meet-up per month moving forward.
-
Focus on a high-value area: Editing/Mapping Roads. I will contribute to Adding Roads by leveraging the knowledge I gained from all the champion LGs here.

Thank you once again, @MathanVibranarayan for starting this! Let’s all prioritize purposeful contributions as we wrap up 2025.![]()
