I’ve been missing traveling. No that’s not even close. Life without traveling makes you fee like you are missing something. It’s like a long distance relationship, you know how much you love it but the time away is brutal.
Through the power of Google maps I’ve tried to make this time away a little more pleasant. I’ve launched a super fun YouTube page called “let’s get lost” where I get to be your travel guide (dream job!) and take you on down of my favourite trips.
So join me in this virtual travel adventure around the world! And hopefully one day it won’t be so virtual!
So cool. What a great idea! I enjoyed looking at your youtube videos and will keep my eye out for future ones you do.
I have visited Scotland a few times. I have an aunt who lives just south of Edinburgh. I love the history and architecture. Crumbling castles. Tea and cake. Yum. I found the accent in Edinburgh easy enough to understand, but the one time I visited Glasgow I had to really concentrate to figure it out! (And I am a native Brit, so you think I would have been ok!)
Best wishes and happy travels, Lydia
Thanks so much Lydia! Glad you enjoyed. It’s been an interesting year so it’s nice to go back and travel even virtually! And I agree those accents are tricky. I was driving from Inverness and needed directions. Didn’t understand a word of it!
