However, local guides are confining searches to cafes near me to begin with.

During my trip to Singapore for the ConnectLIVE 2026 event, I flew from Mumbai 
No direct flights yet from Pune, where I live 
I will share how I used composite queries in Ask Maps to get the best results when searching on Maps.
1. Mumbai: Weekend Travel Itinerary with Constraints
Design a one-day Mumbai itinerary starting at 9 am and ending by 8 PM in Dadar.
Include:
(1) One heritage site and one modern architecture spot.
(2) Suggest lunch options at a coastal seafood place under ₹800 per person
or an Irani cafe alternative.
(3) A sunset viewpoint with minimal crowd.
Total travel time between stops should be less than 30 min using the Mumbai Metro or a taxi.
If it rains, replace outdoor spots with covered markets or Aqua Line metro-accessible indoor activities.

Why it’s impressive:

In Singapore, Ask Maps has not launched yet to my knowledge.
2. Singapore: Cafe Hopping and Culture Mix
Plan a Saturday morning cafe route near Chinatown for 3-4 hours.
Must-haves:
(1) At least one cafe with outdoor seating and specialty pour-over coffee.
(2) One bakery for brunch under $20
(3) Walking distance less than 10 min between stops.
(1) Avoid chains.
(2) If weather is rainy, suggest indoor-only alternatives with good WiFi.
(3) Add a nearby museum or gallery I can pop into between cafes if I have extra time.
What’s impressive here:
This composite query combines time window, budget, weather contingency, distance constraint, style preferences, and optional activity add-on.
Yesterday, during the Ask Maps meetup in Pune, I used a composite query too.
3. Pune: Museum Day and Food Pairing
(1) Find museums in Pune open past 4 PM today that focus on modern Indian art or science.
(2) They should be within 500m of each other
(3) Suggest a restaurant rated 4 or above with vegetarian options and a quiet ambiance for dinner.
(4) If no museums are open late, pivot to heritage walks or art cafes open after 5 pm, instead.
(5) Prioritize places with 15 min travel by auto or Pune Metro between them.
Build me a 5- 7 PM itinerary.
