I can feel your frustration. However there is no way to fix the name of a village in Maps “as a Local Guide”. For more details times ago I wrote: Google Maps explained: The Onion Theory - What we can / can’t edit in Google Maps
Of course there are other ways to have it fixed
This is great. You can write a post on the Google Maps Help Community, providing the details of the issue and an official documentation, preferably a digital Map issued by the Local Authorities and publicly accessible.
In this way the Product Experts in there will be able to escalate it to Google for having the name (and the related boundaries) fixed.
Please be aware that the fixing may take time
