UPDATED: Known issue: Unpublished reviews and photos on Google Maps

Hello @Bobiisha good day, hope you are doing good. My recent reviews in google maps again stopped showing up if i view my profile as guest. Previously you had helped me in resolving this issue. But now again the issue started. Please find the screenshot of my issue. Hope this explains everything clear. Request you to please pass this to your technical team and do the needful in getting this issues rectified as this is effecting my contribution to google maps.

Dear fellow Local Guides,

As suggested by friends here and the moderator that I have to wait for the solution the moderator working for to help.
Still got some notifications and reminders that my reviews on some spots I visited are needed to help other people learn about those places.

Thing that made me sad was. at the time I went to a certain place, sit down there to dine or drink or looking around then write something about that place plus took some photos and upload. Only the photos were seen but the review I made was not there.

I’m really sure my review was my own experience and opinion, there’s no an advertising contents nor promotional review but still unpublished.

Hope the solutions are coming soon.

On the first picture bellow is the origin review on my own page, the second picture what would be seen by other people that says “Review is not Available”.

On October 5 I had received a message saying thank you for my review, it would be helpful for the community etc. (“Danke für deine neueste Rezension”)

Here are my questions:

  1. My assumption is that once I receive such a message, it means that the review hast been reviewed and approved. Is this correct? If not what does the message mean?

  2. What could be a reason why my review is still not visible? I cannot see anything there which might be noncompliant to the rules.

  3. How can I easily see which reviews are not public? Checking not logged in is quite complicated.

@Bobiisha , with 32 “replies” on my request and not creating separate threads I imagine it is very hard for resolvers to weed out all the issues.

My request alone has 30 “replies” that should be separate service requests.

Привет, в моем аккаунте снова проблемы ! Я не понимаю что происходит. Новые отзывы не добавляются (либо фото добавляется, а сам отзыв нет, либо наоборот) А еще некоторые отзывы, которые снова появились - уже без фотографий. Изменить отзывы вообще невозможно - после изменений, они вообще перестают быть видимыми. Я стою на месте и мой аккаунт не двигается вперед из-за этих сбоев.

И еще, у меня уже более 465 отзывов, но отметка застряла на 461, каждый раз добавляю новый, но отзывов все равно 461 !

Unpublished reviews :

Only thé pictures of my reviews are published without my written article. Please check and restore since I publish reviews very often. Please help !!

As for the Local Guide account, you will still be able to post reviews, however, closing the account won’t affect their public visibility.

We will look into your account again and only reviews that don’t violate our policies will be reinstated.

Unpublished reviews.

Since June -July I had written quite a lot of reviews and I added many photos equally… Thé photos were published but thé reviews not. Very frustrating since many people asked me for and couldn’t understand why the reviews were not published. I had no words for them , unfortunately.

Suddenly some 10 days ago around 50 reviews were published all in one time. I thought thé problem was finally solved but now again ,since one week , all of my new reviews face thé same problem as before. I hope I do not have you wait for another 4 months for all of my new reviews to be published ?

I write reviews nearly on a daily basis since 5 years and I never faced this kind of problem…

I am grateful to all of the kind Google Moderators trying to help me and I promise them to continue to act in my country as a running publicity for Google Maps but I please do need their help on this issue.

Thank you so much for your support – now all my reviews are public.

However, now I have a problem with photos like @De_Rouck_Sidney . I uploaded these photos to reviews that were previously hidden. I see a thumbnails of these photos in my profile, but when I try to view the full version, I see only a black screen. My friends also can’t see these photos on the maps.
