Thank you!! iPhone 11pro, software version 14.6. Google maps beta tester current build. I deleted the test flight portion thinking maybe that was it but still no luck.

I genuinely want to know if it’s a bug or I have been banned haha I am just surprised if that would be the case.

P.S.: I also wanted to let you know that you can tag Connect members. This way the other person gets a notification and is able to view your answer right away. You can do it by putting the symbol “@” in front of the nickname.

Hi,
I lost all my reviews. I had 180 reviews can’t see them from the incognito view. How to get them back.

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 180 reviews and only 1 of them are public.
Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)
Read about typical review guideline violations here.
If many or all your reviews are made private you could try the appeals form found here.

@MortenCopenhagen thank you so much for the reply. Actually, I am following all the guidelines of Google maps. Have never violated the rules. This is so frustrating and disappointing. I spent time writing the reviews for the benefit of public. I have filled the form that you provided. Thanks again.

You are welcome. In my experience every Local Guide think he/she is following all the guidelines even though he/she is not. The guidelines are elaborate and very detailed.

Next step is to try to figure out why the spam filter is hiding your reviews, @MHE2021 .
It is difficult to help you when we can’t see your reviews.
Please confirm that you are not managing a business on Google Maps with this account.
Then please read carefully the links I shared earlier. Especially the typical violations with an open mind.
Let me know what your conclusions are.

I believe the appeals form is mostly automated so as long as you know there are no penalties against your account all is good.
This is kind of strange. I don’t see any obvious violations. I noted that the reviews you shared are very new. If you make a lot of reviews within a short time this could trigger the spam filter.
Currently there is a known problem with new reviews not going public. That could explain parts of your issue.
Let me tag @Bobiisha for you to make sure your account is included in the ongoing investigation.
Let us see if that fixes all or part of your problem.

I am also realising that the number of my private/hidden reviews are increasing. I have gotten about 41 hidden reviews as far as I know. If this is a general problem, would it be fair to ask Google to make a special effort to check on most of our accounts? There are more and more Lgs coming out with that issue now.
