I really appreciated seeing the TRAC logo used for the creation of the āOpen Discussionsā.
Using the official TRAC logo across all teams helps us create a shared identity. Even if we belong to different teams, we are all part of the same initiative, inspired by the same spirit and working toward the same goal: improving Google Maps together.
As per your request these are the missing names in your list. If you edit your post you can add:
@jalalus @Pankaj_Sarker @rogerohayashi @SharmaK @elyudith @Jesi @syaubananas @JulhazUddin @Kyescentia
So you will have all the 34 names (BTW, please let me know if you can create this group with all the 34 names or you also are limited to 30
)
Unfortunately is not so easy to find the connect username from the name choose for the registration on the roaders.club.
Hereafter the updated at 02:00 CET āTeam Singaporeā.
This week Iāll be in the best island doing my smoke signal, hoping they will arrive to you all.

You probably donāt know this, but already last year, while I was studying the data of passionate road editors, I came across your numbers. They immediately caught my attention.
I must admit it took me quite a while to find your Connect username so I could write to you, because I really believe that with your experience you could help many Local Guides who are starting to explore road editing.
I also read that you are feeling quite discouraged after the very frustrating experience with road approvals. Unfortunately many of us have gone through the same situation.
Donāt give up. Stay strong and keep going. Your work matters more than you may think, and many Local Guides will learn from your example.
Take care and enjoy TRAC26
Thank you so much, Marco! Iāve added these to both posts.
All: I have been doing EXTREMELY well getting approvals on bike/walking paths in my area. Now, Iām curious if it has to do with proximity or if there is an initiative of some sort.
Iād invite those from other countries to try mapping bike/walking paths within housing developments in the USA and see if they get approvals within a day or two, as I have. That would disprove the proximity question.
Pinging @tony_b, who is always down for an experiment! ![]()
Hi @JustJake,
I am also available for any experiments. I have tried adding roads in Nigeria and Tanzania as well, but unfortunately none of my edits were approved.
I also have another concern for our team members who still have 0 approved road edits. I would like to help them by reviewing their contributions. If anyone would like my opinion about their edits, please let me know.
From my limited experience, I may be able to give some helpful advice. Just send me the coordinates of about 5ā10 edits, and I will review them and reply with my feedback.
I donāt want anyone to feel alone in this process, and hopefully we can help reduce that number 0 together.
Regards,
Hello @marcodavoli & @justjake happy to be on the same team as you
hope we can become a solid team.
I usually stop where it meets the existing road, and that counts as one new road. Then I start again at the other side of that point, and that counts as a second new road. But you were addressing your question to āthe expertsā, and I defer to others whose numbers indicate a way higher success rate than mine.
Yes @gncnpk, thatās what I do when I get depressed with Google. Iāve been active on Waze for 10 years.
Okay. Iām on. If I have any trouble identifying them, Iāll come back to you. Maybe you could post a link to one so I get a better idea of what Iām looking for.
Please remember I live in a country where cyclists and pedestrians compete for space with vehicular traffic.

Bring it ON @JustJake .. always happy to learn more and more about road mapping, especially for all the masters like you guys! Being a newbie, Iām all ears for any tips and tricks. Thanks for sharing it with us openly. I will surely study it and implement the doās and the donāts on thisā¦
anyway ⦠now I was wondering which team that I belong to @MarcoDavoli hahaha.. for sure I join @Cecilita ās TracHERs ![]()
Ciao Indha,
need your help to understand this:
You are in the tracHERs tema, if you login to ROADERS.CLUB you can see all the stat where your name is in that TEAM.
Did you see your name replicate somewhere esle?
Please let me know.
Thanks you for your help.
Marco
Heya @JustJake sorry for joining in here from a different team, but those sidewalks have been getting about 30-50% approval rate for me in the last few days. Of course, done in my town or other cities in my country. For other roads - up to 11% approval rate, no more. Works weird, im sad about it, but nothing I can do.
Take care and good luck to all.
The more the merrier, man. Have you tried drawing them outside of your area, or are they all local?
That was exactly our hope. Previously, most of this was happening in Telegram and WhatsApp chats. Itās time for everyone to see how much work and support goes into a TRAC season. Best of luck!
I wonder if itās because these are both challenge areas for Road Mapper? ![]()
@PrasadVR, what was your experience working on roads in the Live Map in Road Mapper countries during TORM? Did you see rejections like this?
Good thinking, all within 80 miles of where I live and my country, I will have to try like Austria or Poland next.
Thank you!! Iām sure Iāve missed a lot due to the insistance on using Telegram for the groups over the past few seasons.
Check around HERE for the little connecting sidewalks between houses. Plenty to go around, @tony_b, @Lukas_B, @khmansour1
I agree with @tony_b that Iād do a road to the left and one to the right. However, when drawing on PC, it will add a node for you. Iām not sure if thatās the case on Mobile.
If it does NOT automatically add a node for you on Mobile, this could be an easy way to draw roads that are under/over highwaysā¦
