@AdamGT @Jesi yes, the sculpture makes the photo. Night photos can add an additional surrealism to images. The lighting can also add to the image if the photo is taken with a very long shutter speed. I used to take photos of comets with my camera mounted on to a professional telescope. Now that is what you call hard photography and I was awful at it lol. But my friend had the keys to the Wrightwood observatory. This photo is like a small story. Kudos.

LG at position # 92 appears to be a level 8 guide.
My photo views should have placed me at around position # 96.
You had the keys to NASA’s Table Mountain Observatory? What an experience that must have been.
waw foto patungnya sangat hidup, jadi terlihat sangat megah.
papan peringkat ini sangatlah susah untuk saya tembus. mungkin butuh waktu 5 tahun lagi, itu saja pasti di posisi bawah ![]()
Why do you think that @doni_hariadi? You have 55,226 views, and there are persons with lower numbers than that on the Level 9 Leaderboard. Did you actually submit your data at the end of June? You should be at position #94 with those numbers.
paling rendah di lvl 9 terlihat 32 juta @tony_b
dari mana anda mendapatkan nilai ini?
saya merasa sudah menginput data dengan benar, atau mungkin dari saya sendiri yang salah input?
My friend worked at JPL. He used to track comets and drive with his own telescope cross country. We were actually chess friends and went on lots of photo trips together. The observatory was really cool. I think I have a photo stashed somewhere of the actual telescope and him on it. Lol.
Als ich das Bild zum ersten Mal sah, sah es für mich nach einer besonderen Wolkenformation aus. Erst bei richtiger Betrachtung habe ich die Skulptur gesehen.
Auf jeden Fall eine fantastische Aufnahme!
@AdamGT @Jesi
Please accept my apologies, @doni_hariadi. I got that completely wrong. I did this on mobile, and somehow the full numbers are never visible across my screen.
On further checking now, I realise you have a relatively new profile but got to Level 9 very quickly. Therefore, your photos haven’t been visible long enough to have millions of views. You’d definitely need some time to see that growth, but please don’t consider it impossible. You can do it.
@Rednewt74 Your message is a little unclear however, according to the points achieved he is correctly at Level 9 and has been since May with points of 50,727 in May and 50,801 in June with current points at 50,954.
I totally agree @doni_hariadi
You just never know Doni.
A nice friend you have @StevenBerlin. Please do share the photo. It sounds interesting.
When I clicked on their name, their connect profile shows them at level eight. I couldn’t see his map’s profile. My mistake.
The second part of the comment was really a question about why I was not included in the level 9 Leaderboard.
@AdamGT It might have been called the table mountain, but i don’t recall the exact name, but i remember it was run by a few people at JPL. My friend was good friends and student of the main dude with the keys.
A couple photos I found during a comet trip. We brought up like 8 people, and one of them was a guest star on Seinfeld. It was fun. We spent the whole night there. I took both photos. Like i mentioned, i was pretty bad at night photography:)
@doni_hariadi @AdamGT This is one of the issues I personally have with points. You have skyrocketed up to level 9 by answering so many questions, that your views are not in comparison to most level 9s.
I am not saying its a bad thing. We each contribute in our own ways. Continue to take photos and do reviews. I see you have like 500. That’s great!
Make short term goals for like photo views or review views. Eh… who am I to tell you what to do lol. Just keep contributing and enjoy the road. ![]()
Thank you for everything.
@StevenBerlin @AdamGT @tony_b
It’s no problem for me, I just really admire people who have more points or millions of views.
Really, just enjoy the journey, making a real contribution is so much fun ![]()
Is there some quirk in the system @AdamGT? Why does the profile badge have an 8? The Connect link back to the LG’s Google Maps profile isn’t activated, so I can see why @Rednewt74 wouldn’t be aware of the qualifying points.
Not in this thread but another @AdamGT said the system is quirky to you, I’m to young to look back for you ![]()
I’m not saying less is more but more or less saying this to you @doni_hariadi
@StevenBerlin gave you a hint, choose your path
Your profile says level 9
Fair plate to you
But as you jump levels you hop in & outa @AdamGT leaderboard’s as he has it setup as a level playing field for all
I’m a very happy level 8 local guide as @tony_b knows, I show up in places I shouldn’t but that’s the quirkiness of it all
Your in very good company @doni_hariadi
@Rednewt74 included
To my friend @Annaelisa my son & girlfriend + my daughter flew into Cologne & are now currently in Dusseldorf @ a concert god bless them, I just said I’ve a friend over there if needed ![]()
Look @AdamGT reviews leaderboard from a few days ago @doni_hariadi if you don’t believe me
Look out for the number 4
Love to all P
Natürlich, @Peadar, aber Düsseldorf ist weit weg von mir hier im Norden.
Sie werden dort schon zurecht kommen, Düsseldorf ist eine schöne Stadt und ich wünsche ihnen viel Spaß beim Konzert.
Oh the night sky @StevenBerlin
When your a jack of all trades & a master of none the dark sky puts you in your place
