For most of us that earned the badge this year, the contributions to maps are an addiction and lifestyle habit combo. Still, recognition by fellow addicts is great to confirm we are not alone in our madness.
Coming this year as top mover was a shocker (I never thought it was technically possible.. I assume it is the video and views methodology change).

Even more important for everyone to realize is that the Movers & Shakers badge is a CONNECT COMMUNITY-CREATED award. Our collective excitement and monthly work created a movement that was then commemorated by Google with this badge. This honor belongs to all of us.

Congratulations @AdamGT. I was joint top last year & have dropped down to 51 this year. But I’m still chuffed to bits to get another badge to show off, that’s 3 now! I will carry on contributing across the whole spectrum of Maps contributions which up untill now had served me well in getting more known. After all there are not many Scots so active in Spain on Google Maps!
