The Great living Brihadeshwara Temple

Amazing post @Harsha_Reddy

I have previously in another local guide post I gave a small description and mentioned it as one of the wonders of the world.

During my visit

Before the pandemic there was COLOURFUL lighting of the Temple. Now I don’t know it’s still the same.

Thanks for posting about this Temple.

Hello @Gurukrishnapriya Ma’am

Thank you for the response, ma’am.

I accept that this temple is one of the wonders of the world.

They were trying to install back all the lighting ma’am however the work was going on when I visited so I missed that opportunity.

Thank you, ma’am.

Regards, HR.

I especially love visiting historical places. The temple looks magnificent. The grandeur of this temple is experienced by looking at the sculptures of various deities carved on the temple. Thank you so much @Harsha_Reddy for sharing these beautiful pictures and information.

@Harsha_Reddy how nice it is to be able to see an ancient temple. I usually tried to picture the people who built it I wondered what kind of tools they used. Very beautiful photos and thanks for sharing I am looking forward for your posts and thanks for mentioning the place is partially accessible :wheelchair:

Hello @Erna_LaBeau Ji

I was stating next to the vimana and wondering how they built such a big temple.

They are many theories about how they built the temple and still, there are no very widely accepted theories.

Thank you for your kind words, Ji.
