Wow, by looking at your photos I dare to believe that heaven is just on our planet, @fafaguru !

I have never imagined such a place could exist and would definitely like to go there if I can visit Indonesia one day.

I wanted to ask you what dialect people speak in Toraja? Is it a local one that is only used there?

Halo @RizkiRafli

iya benar sekali. Tepatnya di kawasan gunung nona dan dataran dataran tinggi Lolai. pemandangannya sangat asri dan mengagumkan, sayang jika Anda kesana tanpa membawa kamera yang bagus.

Hi @To_paul

Actually Tana Toraja is a famous place. but not easy to reach there because the distance from capital city is so far. So how lucky I went there :grin:

This is great, @fafaguru !

Can you speak their dialect? Is your hometown close to this region?

So usually people can speak Indonesian, a dialect typical for the region and English?

@TsekoV

No, of course not. They use Toraja language as daily in South Sulawesi island. And I use Javanees language. We are stay in different island. My hometown is Yogyakarta, which placed in Java island. It take 2 hour by plane, and then take 8-9 hour by car to reach Tana Toraja.

fyi: there are 5 big island in Indonesia, and so many little island. consists of 714 tribes and has more than 1,001 different regional languages.

but we have the language of unity , it is Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language)
