Yes, you’re correct, @deepakjhic. I finally found the browser notification settings and I got notified when you posted this. BUT that occurred while I was doing something else, not while I was in Connect. I will disable it after a while, as I NEVER let my browsers send me notifications.
But it seems there’s no other way as Connect thinks I previously denied permissions and doesn’t provide a way to reverse that action.
