I think you have seen my post @OlgaKlimchik yes its flowers are delicious side vegetables which we we use a lot in our cuisine.
Great post my friend @Austinelewex
Yes, I can easily tell the difference between a Banana and a Plantain tree! We have both available here. And everyone likes it. We call it banana āą¦ą¦Øą¦¾ą¦ą¦æ ą¦ą¦²ą¦¾/ą¦ą¦¾ą¦ą¦ ą¦ą¦²ą¦¾ā.
I would like to share a picture with you of āPlantainā. It has become like a banana because it has been kept in the refrigerator for a long time!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us here on connect @Designer_Biswajit Dada.
Best regards.
Your picture is great
Nice puzzle @Austinelewex haha .to be honest, I will not be able to see the difference even I red your article lol
. Itās my first time to notice there are two kinds and very similar.
Anyway Itās amusing, short and interesting post from you brother.
Thanks so much.

Thank you so much @OSAMA_1 for your useful comment.
I guess you have learned the differences between the two plant and can clearly differentiate it now.
Best regards and remain safe.
Well, @Austinelewex it will still litte hard to me hahaha.
@Designer_Biswajit Your plantain really looks like banana. But maybe you know some signs to differentiate these fruits in the shop, when neither a tree nor itās flowers can be seen. All ours bananas/plantains are called bananas. Maybe they really bananas, but sometimes they have different taste. Maybe I should fry some of them, but not to eat them raw.
So interesting post!
I cannot see so much different between Banana an Plantain, tree is same ⦠I can guess easily the difference on only taste (banana always sweet and other one has diffrent tasts) and method of uses, we use one kind of Banana ( looks like your Plantain) only for cooking curry or āvorta (one kind pest making with Plantain aafter boiling it out and mix with oniond, green chillis and some spices)ā
Anyway thank you so much for your so interesting post
Thanks for your nice reply @OlgaKlimchik
We also eat it fried. But sometimes we also eat it as a mixed vegetable.
@mockata2 . How are you doing. Hope youāre fine and well.
Can you spot the differences between the two?
Wonderful post @Austinelewex and India being the largest producer of Bananas and also the largest consumer I wasnāt really aware of this difference.
But I think our @TravellerG who lives in the part of India where Bananas are grown on a large scale will appreciate this.
@TusharSuradkar Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and encouraging words. Yes it is still very difficult for me to differentiate. However, if @TravellerG comes from the part of India were banana and Plantain is abundant, he should clearly know the difference.
Best regards.
Thanks @Austinelewex for sharing this knowledge. Iāve seen plantain in my local grocery store but Iāve never bought it, as I wouldnāt know how to cook it. Do you have a recipe to share so I can try it at home?
Wow! Really @Melissa_Langlois
There are so many Plantain recipes that you can use to make tasty meals.
Here is a video of Plantain porridge

Hi @Austinelewex !
I havenāt written for a long time, but everything is OK I lost a bit of motivation to write here, because at the moment I am interested in what awaits us until 2025, namely āGreat Resetā, but this is not a topic that can be discussed here.
I really canāt find any differences and I had never heard of this type of banana or as it is called Plantain (cooking bananas). Bananas do not grow in Bulgaria and that is why I will go through a big store that offers a lot of tropical fruits and I will check if they offer Plantain and I will try to cook something
Best Regards!
I see differences))
Okay @mockata2
Thanks for the reply.
Thereās so much conspiracy theories on going now, but the main idea is to remain safe and focus.
There is need to hurry, just take your time before you prepare something.
Iām happy you are safe
Remain safe
Best regards
What and what do you see? @emmama7
Hello friends @Austinelewex & @TusharSuradkar
ā⦠he should clearly know the differenceā¦ā
In my humble accent ā I may not know everything⦠but I shall mention what I know, tomorrow - today itās too late for me.
Thanks, Tushar Ji for tagging me here.
