I joined the Google Local Guide in 2016 and now I am level 7 and soon will be Level 8 on Google Map.
I am enjoying to contribute and helping people and also adding missing places.
Mostly People are unaware that how to contribute on Map so Now I also start to train people.
Soon I will arrange a meet-up and will properly guide them about Google Local Guide Community and their achievements…

I am so happy for the new badge google provide to me. Its just a request if google provide something to us in this. Because we are sharing all the details and photos to google and regarding this if they give something to us like goodies and payment it will be more exciting.

So far I have not heard of a physical “5Y Connect” badge, and if you take into account that there are 150 million local guides around the globe, you will understand that it will not be possible to send out actual physcial badges to each of them.
To keep things a bit organized here on Connect, I am merging your post into the main thread. If you’re new to Connect, this post will probably be a good starting point.
