Happy New Year @AdrianLunsong
I am Jayasimha Nuggehalli @jayasimha78 I am originally from Mysore, Karnataka, India. I have been living in San Francisco Bay Area from last 32 Years. Currently residing in Antioch, CA. I have been participating in Google Local Guide program since July 2017, around 7.5 years.
There are several memorable moments this year:
- Participating in EuroMeetup 2024 in Manchester, hosted by our gracious hosts @AdrianLunsong and @PeteMHW, meeting several local guides, Connect Moderators and Google Moderators in person. Also was able to participate new Connect introduction video.
- Participating TRAC 2024 started by @SholaIB to contribute towards adding missing roads
- Cohosting several #StateChallenge Meetups with @Denise_Barlock and making some new LG friends.
- Meeting in person my good Local Guide friend @TravellerG during my trip to India.
EuroMeetup2024 gave me opportunity to reconnect many LGs whom I met in 2019 connect live and also LGs with whom I have interacted in virtual meetups. Also #Statechallenge meetups give opportunity to make new LG friends. There are too many to tag!
Of course our EuroMeetup2024 hosts @PeteMHW and @AdrianLunsong for meticulously planning and executing the event. My wife and I had a great time attending the event.
Also the TRAC Family @SholaIB and all the participants in TRAC! continuously motivating each other to achieve the goal.
Here is my gratitude post for #Statechallege family: 2024 #StateChallenge Meetups Recap!
@AdamGT for his continuous hard work on innovating and maintaining the Leader boards on connect to keep the LGs motivated.
Continue my contributions on Google Maps and Connect. Hopefully I can attend some in person meetups in 2025.
Looking forward to participating in the activities related to Connect 10th birthday!
I hope Google can organize in person events locally or globally. Bring back connect live! Which gives opportunity to connect with fellow LGs and Googlers.
