It would be a great pleasure to be your Local Guide, in exploring the area (there is much more than Venice to discover) and in tasting wine.
Sounds like a dream!!!

Yes @LucioV

Excellent recap @ErmesT , you have described perfectly many of the things we did during the weekend.
It was a totally adventure for me to go; a meet up in a different country and you were the only LG I knewâŚ
I were so happy from the very first moment (as @KarenVChin says).
All of you @AntonellaGr , @LucioV , @DanielaBP , Davide Lui :)))) , Emmanuele, Gaetano, Mauro, Davide ⌠an many many all, made me feel as if I were part of the Italian LG Community.
We didn´t care about the cold or rain, we enjoyed every single moment.
Congratulations Ermes, you are the best
Hahaha @AlejandraMaria
You were the cherry in the cake that we tried to build up. We enjoyed to have you here, even if the weather reduced our possibility for the second day. You know, I would like to invite @TraciC next year, but I wanted to be sure that it an works in a good way. So your opinion is needed. Also I will be very happy to read your (also small, if you donât have time) version of the story, to have more point of view.
You are the best
Ermes
Thanks @ShafiulB ,
we tried to share an experience about something that is a famous Italian Product, and we enjoyed a lot. We really had a lot of fun
Ermes
@KarenVChin , this is an interesting question.

I see red grapes @ErmesT ! By chance was there any mention during the weekend of Lambrusco vs Prosecco? I realize this grown in a different region and itâs red vs white.
A good friend brought over a bottle for curiosity few weeks ago to sample since she knows I love to try new international sparkling wines. Color was a deep red, slightly sweet.
I always enjoy learning about how things things are made and the production process. Great photos!
Cheers,
Karen
Well, Prosecco and Lambrusco are not comparable, for many reasons:
I like Lambrusco, light and sweet sparkling wine from central Italy. Lambrusco is easy to drink, good for a glass of wine with friends, as it is not involving you too much. A glass of Lambrusco makes your mouth fresh, with not to much persistence.
Prosecco can be an easy wine too, but it is dry (even if not so dry as champagne is), and persistent. Prosecco is a wine that is used for starting a dinner, and at the end of the dinned, just before the cake. The reason is that he cleans your mouth, so it is perfect before tasting a food with a soft taste, like an appetizer or, as said, a slice of cake.
There are also wonderful and high quality blend of Lambrusco, like the âLambrusco di Sorbaraâ

The art of wine is an aquired one. Your story and enthusiasm is great. I wish I was in that part of the world.
Hi @kempski , Thank you very much for your comment.
Well, I can honestly say that I have found wonderful wines also in USA, in San Francisco Area (even if during my long visit in NC and GA I was drinking mostly beer).
During the LGSummit2017 in San Francisco we had a nice âwine exchangeâ betwen wines from north of Italy and Wines from California.

Hello;
Believe it or not, the Biltmore has some great reserve wine that they age the good old fashion way. Might be worth a trip.
