Hello @SumaiyaZafrin

It was really a great idea by @PavelSarwar & Arif Nezami. The best and loving part is it was not only an idea after sharing it in right platform till 30th April they are succeeding to enrich 31087 contributors where the almost 90% contributor’s are fresher’s and now passionate about enriching Maps in Bangladesh . It was one of the best examples for getting success while working together. Every single contributor(By directly involved or indirectly) of this #BangladeshChallenge Campaign has tried to give their best to Give a Better map outlook for Bangladeshis & for the upcoming visitor’s of Bangladesh through Google Maps. There were more than 10% are Local Guides that you mentioned in your post & I just like to add that they played a vital role really by answering a lot of question’s about Google Maps in our Native Language beside this they aware about Spamming and it helps a lot to get the huge amount of successful acceptable information.

Thank’s a lot Sumaiya Zafrin Apu(Sister) for share the [Recap] Bangladesh Challenge and also mentioning me there.

I don’t wanna miss the chance to giving thanks @ShafiulB vai(Brother) for introducing me to became a auditor to the following authority.

As an Auditor I have visited virtually around 5500 places and surroundings within less than one month, which is a Lifetime experience for me.Yes it was challenging but more than that we enjoy it & There is no doubt.

In this campaign from my exploring on Google Maps & get notable complain from other contributor’s about lack of Google Maps though it’s a very few cases one of them is missing updated 360.

We know Since early 2013 Google has been on the ground to bring our google Street View imagery from all across Bangladesh & taking soaring initiatives to improve the view, but in 7 years there obviously changes a lot & no re-visit from Google is feeling so sad from my side.We have seen a lot of features revealed in 2020 by Google.Hopefully Google already takes the steps to re-visit if not yet , then hopefully very soon, maybe in 2021 they will make it it’s totally from my personal view.

During the Campaign The authority always trying to cheer up us specially the Local Guide Bangla Team.

Hello @SumaiyaZafrin Apu, thank you very much for your nice post and for sharing the details of this campaign. I also thanks to @PavelSarwar & @ShafiulB vai for give me opportunity to involved this campaign.

Thanks @ErmesT you like it.

As a Local Guides Bangla core team member I got a chance on live season for tell about what is spam and what is not. How we will contribute on Google map without spamming. I try to say Google map policy, how new people will contribute on Google maps. It was a big challenge to make it success. So we passed very busy time that days because on #BangladeshChallenge fb group page every day we got up to 60/70 question about Google maps and we answered. Many of them share their map contribution link for check his/her contribution have any spam. When we say yes they immediately correct it.

By this campaign we not only overcome this COVID-19 situation we also make new local guides in our country and hope they will never do spam and be a good contributor on Google maps.

Who love Bangladesh, work for Bangladesh and want make better map for Bangladesh they joined with us. I’m very happy and proud to be a part of this campaign. It was a great experience with all of you!

I also want thanks to the organizers, community partner and Local Guides Bangla team @ShahMdSultan @Farhan21 @aukanamul11 @Naiem @Motiur_Rahman @SolaimanHossain @MS_Pathan @FoysalBD @ShahriarAzadEvan @SalehMdSoyaib you people proved together we can.

Thanks & Regards

Md. Mafujul Islam

reat initiative of Bangladesh taken by the ICT department and @user_not_found Bhai was backstage. I think through this campaign, the young generation of our country will know what is the guidance of Google Map, how to guide, place add, which place should be added as well as which is spam, no contribution! There was an alternative called “Easy Guiding” This idea was so effective in encouraging people about guiding. A large number of local guides joined it. I personally get a chance to support this campaign and would like to thank that @Bashar Shafiul brother a lot on this issue. I have also contributed to this campaign and enjoyed it the most. I am so lucky that here I am tagged by my dear sister@sumaiya Jafrin Lots of experience about this campaign, the beneficial side can be said. I would like to once again thank the organizers and members of the local guide Bangla team. @Happy birthday
