I remember doing this exact same trip 3 years ago.
I too started from Gurugram, Sector 10A where I Iived at that time.
The highlight of the trip was I happened to be in Jaisalmer on the day of the coronation of the new King:
The RajTilak Coronation Ceremony of the Prince of Jaisalmer
and of course my favorite - Sam Sand Dunes.
