Qutub Minar, New Delhi, India

Hi just recently visited Qutub Minar with a friend from Germany. It was a nice and short visit, crowd was nice inside, but outside the ticket lines it was packed! people were waiting to get their entry passes. As I had a foreign guest with me, it did feel weird to buy their ticket for ₹600 and my own only for ₹40. Really wasn’t a great feeling.

I believe the ticket cost is keeping it clean and structured, that’s the reason it felt refreshing to be there. Visiting it after many years! and it is still a bliss. On the other note, I guess I am one of those lucky ones who were able to visit inside the Minar and also spread the arms around the Iron Stumbh to measure my luck! (Those were the old days) now none of that is possible. Its closed for anyone to go in or touch the pillar. Just walk around and take beautiful pictures. Cheers.
