As for Connect app, I still hope one day this version will pop up. But with easy-peasy navigation & high mobile-user friendliness, this girl is super happy for sure. I especially hope that photos and videos will be easily shared here :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I can certainly attest that on mobile the new Connect is very much like having an app. These days most apps are containers for a website behind the scenes anyway so the experience will feel native and exciting for mobile users. A massive step up from what we have today with this version.

I guess every other thing remains in check except bookmarked posts and follows. That’s reasonable enough. Well done to the developers, CMs, and everyone on this project for the effort. Thanks for sharing this FAQ @AngieYC , great read.

I have one more question that is:- Those of us who take pictures with mobile camera and post them on Connect do not accept more than 2 MB of pictures. Images have to be converted and then uploaded. Will it be more updated in the new reform?

I currently have a kind of profile in google maps (earned badges etc.) and one within localguidesconnect with badges etc. only visible on localguidesconnect.com. Why not giving the user the option to merge both profiles, so that the user only must maintain 1 profile? Now I can follow people from within google maps, and from within localguidesconnect (for naming just 1 thing besides de sets of badges). Being kind of chattered =splinched all over the web is a bit time consuming.

Hi @KhokonSharker

I tested the max file size and there was no issues with uploading an image file 5.85MB. So the annoying file size limited is gone when the new look and feel is implemented.

Very good news for LG Community remembers now we will experience new connect , in same way with broad view and might be some special features in it . we are waiting for it and our excitement goes high to see up this modern and mobile friendly features in connect , Thank you @AngieYC ji for this wonderful article that answers all the question about new connect , we hope that in new connect we will engage with more fellow community members and our connect will like connecting with people .

The FAQs clears my doubts @AngieYC . I have one question: I remember the current email and my connect id. If there is any password created by me at the time of joining I don’t remember that. In that case how can I login into the new version
