For new Connect users, it can be difficult to understand the difference between Maps and Connect. They are not the same.
Maps is a platform where billions of users get step-by-step directions on how to navigate to new places. And Maps is where people check out reviews to decide if they want to visit a place or not. And for businesses, Google Maps can play an important role in attracting new customers.
Connect is a separate community for us volunteer Local Guides. This community aims to inspire us to make better Maps contributions. And Connect is where we can share and discuss our experiences and achievements while connecting with other Local Guides around the globe.
I noticed how you have shared a single photo and not made any relevant comments on why and how your photos are related to Maps or being a Local Guide.
So my guess it that you failed to make your Connect contributions relevant for other Local Guides.
