Hy Local Guides, @
Have you noticed something different while scrolling through the latest leaderboards or challenge winner lists on Connect?
We are used to seeing our usernames on a grey color background (@Rahul001), but that has changed. Now you can see your username in a blue curvy background.![]()

A Clear Visual Improvement
While the old grey style was functional, it didn’t always stand out clearly when navigating dense lists of contributors. This new look is a game-changer for visibility.
This helps you to quickly identify your username in large community lists, such as:
-
Leaderboards
: Whether you are checking the Top 10 Mentor Champions January 2026 by @Shaunak or looking at the global rankings, you can now see exactly where you stand at a single glance
. -
Challenge Winner Lists
: When you learn about challenges on Connect and join the hunt for badges, finding your name in the winner announcement list is now much faster. -
Attendees of Meetup list
: Instantly find yourself among your fellow Local Guides when checking the RSVP lists for upcoming meetups or list of virtual attendees.
Please Note - 50 is the limit number of mentioning local guides in a post. After 50, if we copy local guides’ Connect Profile & insert it with/without “@” and name of local guides (for example @Rahul001) ; your username won’t be showing in blue curvy background.
It is great to see the Connect platform making these updates that make our experience on Connect smoother and simplify.
What do you think of this new look? Does the blue highlight help you find your name faster than the old grey one did? Let me know in the comments below
