Dear @Katarina_Cibikova Hi
hope you are doing well.
Thank you for mentioning me in your post ![]()
Even though you joined recently, you already have a keen eye for accessibility features and a wonderful understanding of their importance.Your post speaks for itself.
In fact, it is truly inspiring to see how beautifully you have adapted to the Connect culture in such a short time. It feels wonderful to have a newcomer of such calibre among us.
May you receive the recognition you rightfully deserve, and I sincerely wish you great success in your Local Guides journey.
Language is never a barrier when emotions and intent are genuine. That said, you have expressed your thoughts and feelings very beautifully and thoughtfully, @Katarina_Cibikova during the meet-up, I have only made a small addition to your message.
Reading the story you shared about your sister is truly heart-touching. It also gives a clear understanding of why you are so deeply focused on accessibility features across the community. What you are doing is not just meaningful, but truly noble; turning a personal experience into a driving force for helping others. It takes real courage and openness to share such personal inspiration and use it as a foundation for learning and contributing together in the community.
I have always believed in promoting and encouraging the philosophy of the Power of Community, and you will find this reflected in many of my posts as well. I strongly believe that real impact happens when we collaborate, support each other, and grow together. Your story has further strengthened this belief and given me additional motivation to continue advocating for it, because true strength lies in community collaboration.
You are a wonderful example of someone who not only believes in this philosophy but also lives it through your actions and contributions. Thank you for sharing yet another inspiring chapter of your journey with us.
I can sincerely feel it…Very much admire your enthusiasm…
You are most welcome, dear friend @Katarina_Cibikova

@Katarina_Cibikova This is an incredibly moving and inspiring story that perfectly shows how real, human emotions drive our work as Local Guides
Your personal motivation and care for your Sister are a powerful force, and your daily attentiveness to architectural details genuinely changes the world for the better.
It is beautiful how wonderfully you captured the fact that small gestures – like a single photo or answering a question – determine someone’s comfort and sense of social inclusion.
The support you received from Kumaarsantosh is, in turn, the best proof of how strong, empathetic, and free of language barriers our global community truly is.
Thank you for everything you do, and for being such a wonderful inspiration to us all!
ďakujem @Katarina_Cibikova ! nothing like a deep personal connection to drive positive change!
This is valuable information that many people need to know, let’s share a behind-the-scenes perspective! @Anil6969 , @TravelClever , @curatorofmemory , @Manishhh , @NareshDarji , @SharmaK , @Roman_Ahmmed , @KashifMisidia , @deepakjhic , @Mohdmohdaljaman , @TravellerG , @SonamW , @Kumaarsantosh , @doc_dells , @Annaelisa , @JustynaMad , @cfanatic
I witnessed your passion and dedication to accessibility during our Google Contribution Walk in Dublin! You didn’t let a single detail go unnoticed. While you were a bit behind during the walk, you were actually ahead of all of us, taking your time to capture every corner where accessibility features were present.
Now I’m trapped!
Inspired by you, I’ve taken so many photos too, but I have no idea where to upload them. They’re all related to Dublin’s public infrastructure, so it’s hard to decide on a single place to share that kind of information.
Meanwhile, my phone storage is completely full lol!
Kudos to you for the amazing work you’re doing for the community. I’ve learned so much from you, my dearest friend!
