Love this entry of the series, @KatyaL ! As a fellow chocolate lover myself, the “heaven” cake looks fantastic and right up my alley. The cocktails also look refreshing as well! Thanks for continuing to share experiences from your trip to the Maldives!

Hi @SP31 ,
I’m glad you enjoyed my series of posts related to food from the Maldives. I’m also very happy to share all the beauty of the islands with the Local Guides on Connect. Like many people in the community are saying - sharing is caring! I’m going to share soon more about the activities you can do in the Maldives. I hope you will enjoy reading it as well!
Thanks for sharing your great cocktails with us @Nyainurjanah ! For me the best place to be is under the coconut tree hehe! I love the taste of fresh coconut juice and also I’m using a lot coconut butter for cooking different desserts. Stay tuned for my next post about cool activities you can do in the Maldives!
Have a great day!
Cheers,
Katya

Hi @KatyaL ,
another wonderful post about Maldives, you are making me jealous with all such nice pictures , the desserts, fruits and drinks look fantastic, in a very typical Maldivian style
.
Hi @AbdullahAM and @LuigiZ ,
Thanks so much for your comments! It’s actually the first time I’m sharing similar series of posts in the Food& Drinks section and I’m super happy you liked them! The Maldivian style of food and drinks is really great and absolutely delicious! If you have the chance to visit the islands, don’t hesitate to do it, as it’s totally worth it.
Maldives is a place I would like to visit. I know resorts are expensive there. About about restaurant food, expensive too?
@KatyaL thank you for sharing about maldives, such a beautiful scenery and the food and fruits looks so delicious, perfect combination with beautiful view. How about the price ? because sometimes in tourism place the food a little bit overpriced
Hi @nanik_rf ,
Thanks so much for your comment! I’m happy you enjoyed reading my post and thanks for your question.
The prices on Bandos island were between 7-10 dollars for a soup, 12-20 dollars for a main dish, the cocktails were between 12-15 dollars, the beer is approximately 10 dollars. The desserts and fruits you could take as much as you want, as I prepaid for the breakfasts and dinners when renting the villa.
Hi @Chuan_Chee ,
Thanks for your comment as well and as you were asking the same question, I’m tagging you here to check ou the approximate prices of food and drinks in the Maldives that I shared above.
@KatyaL Thank you for your detailed respond. Wow it’s nice to get free desserts and fruits, thanks for your information. I hope I can go there someday
