@TravellerG thank you. We do not have vegetarian options because it seems like 99% of Cambodian are non-vegetarians. Like I said earlier, my mom sometimes finished off the rice by just putting rice + mung bean, no meat.

I think you can do it without meat.

@TravellerG yes, thank you for sharing. I have seen it actually.

We have similar projects here while you walk with elephants, feed them and bath them in the real jungle.

Hello, @Sophia_Cambodia

It’s really interesting! I’ve never heard that before but it looks like maki-sushi as you said. As I can’t imagine the taste, someday I wanna try it by all means. Thank you for sharing Num Ansorm from Cambodia :yum:

@HiroyukiTakisawa san, thank you. Yes, very similar how they roll it but I think making Sushi is not that complicated.

If you happen to be in Cambodia between these season greetings, there are plenty to try! If not, try to go to local market and buy them from locals.

Ansom is more glutinous compared to that of Sushi. I must say the taste of Ansom is a bit stronger than Sushi.

@Anil6969 thank you and I am glad you enjoyed it :slightly_smiling_face:

We have been eating the traditional ones for years and never get tired of it :slightly_smiling_face: but this whole new green one is very interesting too. It has creamy flavor from the eggs but also more expensive - almost 10$ for one piece. The white one is 1.5$-5$ only.

@SomavoteyThorn I really wish to meet them in person and learn from them too but don’t seem to find right time for that. We should do something to promote our Cambodia as well like Photowalk, meet-up and so on. Where do you live?

@Sophia_Cambodia I’m living in Phnom Penh City.

@TravellerG thank you very much sir, glad you love the idea.

They have been here for sometimes.

Elephant project in Kulen Mountain is from when they stop elephant ride at Angkor so this is the alternative ways to earn incomes for locals or mahouts.
